The Bridge Program is an alternative to incarceration and works with people who are in the legal system because of their addictions.
The run is Saturday, September 9 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. and the run starts at 9 a.m. People have a choice of running or walking a 5K or a 10K.
Preregistration is closed, but people who want to participate can go to a "packet pickup" at the Urban Mission from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 7. They can also register the day of the event.
The entry fee is $20 ahead of time and $25 the day of the race.
