Celebrating Black River Fall Fest in Public Square

Posted: Updated:

People in downtown Watertown were welcoming the fall season with open arms.

The Black River Fall Festival kicked off the season on Public Square Saturday. Vendors lined the streets with food and crafts for people to enjoy. It's sponsored by the Downtown Business Association of Watertown.

Carol Loch, DBA treasurer said, "The people now are relying on it being the second weekend in September and the first thing they do in the fall. It's the first weekend the family can be together after kids have been at school all week."

It happens once a year and admission is free and open to the public.
