A sixth person has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Pamelia man.

State police charged 21 year old Christopher O'Connor of 1429 Gill Street in Watertown with fourth-degree conspiracy.

The arrest stems from the shooting death of Tyler Johnson that occurred on May 18.

O'Connor is accused of actively participating in the planning of the robbery of Johnson, who was shot and killed during that crime.

"His role in this, supported by multiple interviews that we conducted, was solely to be part of the planning that was put in place the resulted in the death of Mr. Johnson," said Senior Investigator Mike Pastuf, New York State Police.

Five people, Jamaal Carr, Sammy Brown, Devin Davis, Shawn Moore, and Taylor Beckstead are accused of robbing and murdering Johnson.

O’Connor was arraigned in Jefferson County Court Monday afternoon. His bail was set at $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.

State police are interested in speaking to any person who had direct contact with any of the suspects, and who may have knowledge of any event that led up to Johnson's death.
