Primary Polls Open At Noon

Posted: Updated:

It's Primary Day and even though it's an off-year nationally, there are a few races locally.

Polls are open from noon to 9 p.m.

Local races include Watertown city council, Watertown city court judge and scattered town supervisor races.

Tune in to your North Country Fox at 10 p.m. for results. That's channel 2 on Spectrum cable and channel 28 on most other services.

Results will be at 11 p.m. on 7 News Tonight.

You can also follow results on this website.

There are five candidates for city council, Ryan Henry-Wilkinson, Lisa Ruggiero, Cliff Olney, as well as current city council members Steve Jennings and Teresa Macaluso.

After Tuesday's vote, the field will be narrowed down to the top four for the general election in November.

The city court race pits incumbent judge Catherine Palermo against Anthony Neddo.

Palermo is a Democrat, but she's challenging Neddo on the Republican line. The two are also running on the Conservative and Independence party lines.

There are also town supervisor races in Champion, Alexandria, Colton, Oswegatchie and Lyonsdale.
