Thrift Store Raising Money For Las Vegas Shooting Victims

A thrift store based in Adams is raising money for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

At Hearthstone Ministries store, every item is selling for 10 cents in effort to raise money for those in Las Vegas.

It's a two-day sale and workers at the store hope to raise $1,000 for the fund.

"We saw the absolute catastrophe of Vegas and the first thing out of my mouth was, 'This is where the proceeds need to go. We need to help,'" said Rebecca Cabrera, operations manager.

The store is donating to the official "Las Vegas Victims Fund."

The page has so far reached more than $9 million and the store plans to contribute as much as they raise.
