Friday Night Football: High Scoring Bout in Dexter

Posted: Updated:

The Lowville Red Raiders traveled to Dexter to face the General Brown Lions Friday night, both looking to bolster their resumes for sectionals play.

The Lions would score first, set up by a 25 yard yard by Zach Barker. Thomas Dupee ran the ball into the endzone to put the Lions up 7-0. Lowville would answer with a pass, that would set up Issac Lyndacker for a touchdown. Lowville would get the two-point conversion and go up 8-7. Plenty of scoring from there, General Brown would go on to beat Lowville 51-42.

Other games would include Indian River hosting Fowler, Watertown entertaining Henninger, South Jeff hosting Cortland, Thousand Islands taking on A.P.W. and Canton at Tupper Lake.
