Tuesday Night: Watertown Walmart Evacuated

Posted: Updated:

A bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Walmart store on outer Arsenal Street in Watertown Tuesday night.

7 News producer Michael Loffredo, on scene, said state police and sheriff's deputies blocked off all the entrances to the store. Employees gathered in a plaza across the parking lot from the store. Loffredo said he saw troopers carrying rifles, and police with dogs, outside the store.

The threat was called in before 9 p.m. A search turned up nothing.
