Canton School Voters Decide On Restroom, Concession Stand Project

Posted: Updated:

Canton Central School District residents are at the polls Wednesday, voting on building restrooms and a concession stand at  its ball fields.

The expanded facility on State Street will host six baseball and softball fields.

But until now, no way has been found to pay for restrooms and a concession stand there.

So voters are deciding if the school district should provide up to $450,000.

District officials say reserve funds will be used and there should be no impact on taxes. Donations are also expected to pay some of the cost.
