Morning Checkup: Fighting Holiday Depression

Posted: Updated:

Depression can be a problem during holidays, especially for people who feel isolated.

Samaritan Medical Center resident psychiatrist Dr. Jason Lulejian talked about ways to combat holiday depression during Samaritan's weekly Morning Checkup segment on 7 News This Morning.

You can see his interview in the video.

Signs to watch for are insomnia, feeling fatigued, and losing concentration.

Some suggestions:

- Volunteer at Samaritan
- Start new traditions
- Join a social group
