Making sense of the opioid crisis. It's something the Sisters of St. Joseph and its social justice committee will try to do.
The first of three presentations will be Sunday at the sisters' motherhouse in Watertown.
It will feature a speaker from the Alliance for Better Communities. Clergy, lay leaders, parents, teachers and children are all invited.
"What's it all about, how do you recognize it, what do you do? I mean, how many of our families, our relatives, our friends have not been touched in one way shape or form," said Sister Bethany of the Sisters of St. Joseph Social Justice Committee.
The first of three sessions will be this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 1425 Washington Street, Watertown.
