A Watertown man is charged with drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter after crashing his pickup truck into a tree in Lewis County over the weekend. The accident killed one of the passengers in the truck:
So sad. Way too young. Sorry for all involved.
So many lives changed in the blink of an eye.
Hopefully a lesson for others.

There's a movement on to encourage employers to consider hiring those with criminal backgrounds. It's called "second chance employment:"
Everyone deserves a second chance.
It takes away from qualified individuals because employers are looking for the kickback instead of having to pay for skilled labor.
Grievances have been filed against Watertown after the city's move to break its contract with the firefighters union to save money:
There has to be a better solution instead of this war the city is waging against first responders.
Maybe it's the first responders waging the war and the city's intent was to keep taxes lower as requested by tax payers.
