If you need an MRI, Samaritan Medical Center is trying to make it a less stressful experience.
James Farr is the hospital's director of diagnostic imaging services. He talked about Samaritan's new 3T MRI system during the hospital's Morning Checkup segment on 7 News This Morning.
You can see his interview in the video.
The new system allows the patient to change the color of the room to something the patient finds soothing.
Patients can also select what they see on a monitor while they're inside the machine.
And soon they'll be able to play music from their smart phones and hear it while they're being scanned.
