Students at the BOCES Bohlen Technical Center are ringing bells for a good cause.
This is the first year that BOCES students are taking part in the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.
So far, they've raised about $70 in a matter of a few days.
"We're just happy to be helping out the Salvation Army. We think it's a worthy cause and it's a great opportunity for the kids to give back," said Nathan Lehman, BOCES information coordinator.
"It's just making me feel better as a person knowing that I am helping people out by them getting food from the Salvation Army or clothes that they might not be able to get," said Cassie Johnson, BOCES Student.
The students will continue to ring for the Salvation Army through December 23.
