A Canton man is accused of brandishing a butcher knife during an argument with his girlfriend and 19 year old daughter.

St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies say 34 year old Anthony George also allegedly shoved both women and hung up the phone after his daughter tried to call 911.

Deputies say it happened at his 194 Pink School Road home in front of his 1 year old child.

George was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing, second-degree harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned in Potsdam town court and released under probation supervision.
