Festival Of Trees Coming Up Soon

The Dulles State Office Building in Watertown is getting into the holiday spirit.

The trees are up and ready for this weekend's 15th annual Festival of Trees.

More than 62 trees light up the building; some quirky and others more traditional.

But all are sponsored by different local organizations.

They'll be open for public viewing throughout the weekend, starting Friday morning.

"We're doing something a little bit different this year on Sunday. Instead of having the silent auction last all day Sunday, we're doing a live public auction beginning at noon. All of the trees that haven't sold will go to live auction," said Michelle Nickles, Samaritan Medical Center Foundation community relations coordinator.

The annual Sugar Plum Ball is this Saturday night, also in the State Office Building. 7 News WWNY, WNYF - Your North Country Fox and MeTV are sponsors of this year's Festival of Trees.
