SPCA: Dapper Penguin

SPCA: Dapper Penguin

Posted: Updated:

The dapper-looking feline gentleman is Penguin.

The Jefferson County SPCA's Lydia Villafranco brought him to the 7 News studio for the shelter's week;y segment.

He's about two years old and will be ready for adoption on Wednesday. He needs his neutering operation and that's scheduled for Tuesday.

Penguin is one of a handful of pets available for adoption under the shelter's Cooperative Care Program.

Cooperative Real Estate donates a certain amount of money each month that pays for the adoption of pets who have been at the shelter longer than three weeks.

For more information on adopting an animal, volunteering, or becoming a member, call the shelter at 315-782-3260.
