Michael P. Bray, 62, of West Stockholm

WEST STOCKHOLM – Michael P. Bray, 62, of 210 Livingston Road, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, November 30, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Michael was born November 7, 1955 in Massena, son of the late Harold and Marjorie Wells Bray.  He attended Potsdam Central School, and he served in the US Marines from February 1976 until his honorable discharge in February 1980.  On May 1, 2010 he married Lisa R. Durand in Potsdam.

He worked for Aramark Food Services at Clarkson University for 30 Years.  He enjoyed the outdoors and visiting with family and friends, but his grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy.

Michael is survived by his two children, Candice LaPage of Edwards; and Marybeth Whalen of Tennessee; two stepchildren, Charles Rafter of Stockholm; and Shaun Rafter of Colorado; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; his sister Barbara Beckstead of Brasher Falls; and two brothers, James and Bruce Bray, both of Syracuse.

Besides his parents Harold and Marjorie, Michael was predeceased by his son, Michael P. Bray; two stepchildren, Jason Rafter, and Alisha Gilson; two sisters, Bernice Locey and Bonnie White; and two brothers, Gerald and Leroy Bray.

Friends may call at the Donaldson~Seymour Funeral Home Saturday, from 1-5:00 PM.
