'Magic' Show Has Fun With Science

Posted: Updated:

There's a magic show this weekend that's purely based on science.

Clarkson University associate professor Dr. James Peploski is once again staging his Dr. Jim's Chemistry Magic Show to help the Potsdam Holiday Fund.

"It's geared toward children -- it's a lot of fun, it's exciting, it's educational -- and we finish off by making ice cream for the kids with liquid nitrogen," he said.

Watch the video for his phone interview on 7 News This Morning.

The show is from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 9 in room 360 of the Clarkson University Science Center.

Admission is a donation of one new, unwrapped toy or gift. Cash donations will be accepted instead.

The Potsdam Holiday Fund provides toys, clothes and food to needy families in the area.
