2 Accused Of Making Meth

Two people have been arrested for allegedly making methamphetamine in the town of Waddington.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office charged 37 year old Michael Remillard and 25 year old Ruth Green, both of Waddington, with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, a felony.

They were arrested Sunday following a raid conducted by members of the Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force, which included members of the Ogdensburg City Police Department, U.S. Border Patrol, HSI, Gouverneur Village Police Department, Massena Village Police Department and the New York State CCSERT.

Both Remillard and Green were arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court.

Remillard was sent to the county jail on $2,500 bail and $5,000 bond.

Green was released to the supervision of probation.

Official said the investigation is ongoing with further charges pending.
