All Army Hockey Team Set To Play In Watertown

Posted: Updated:

The first-ever All Army hockey team is getting ready to lace up their skates and take the ice.

Twenty soldiers from all over the United States have joined the team that has been practicing for months to debut their skills on the rink.

Three of those players are from the 10th Mountain Division.

"I think this team represents the Army as a whole, not only as far as rank, but where folks are stationed as well. It's pretty neat to see this group of guys who represent the Army, as a whole, come together to play hockey," said Captain Jeffrey Fearing, head coach.

The first official game is set for December 16 at the Watertown Municipal Arena against the Canadian Army team.
