Volunteers with Operation Homefront handed out meal bags for military members and their families Thursday.
The bags were filled with mashed potatoes, stuffing, pancake mix - everything for a full day of food.
And they also got gift cards to Walmart to buy anything else they may need.
"A family will move here and the expenses are high, so this is just a great way to say we really appreciate everything that you're doing and the sacrifices that you're making," said Tonia Russell of Operation Homefront.
"The time that they take to help us out with the holiday dinner is really amazing and I really like it," said Mayrelin Scott, Fort Drum resident.
For any families who missed out on registering for one of the 200 meals, they could get a gift card to Cracker Barrel for a dinner night out.
