Ogdensburg police charged one man Sunday in an armed robbery, and said they were seeking two others.

Arrested was Timothy Scott Sharpstene Jr., 28, who was charged with robbery, second degree and grand larceny, third degree.

Police said they were called to 221 Paterson Street at 7:25 AM Sunday morning where "victims reported that they woke up to three males in masks, pointing a gun at them requesting their property," according to a statement from police.

Police said the three fled, but city police quickly caught up to Sharpstene "with the missing property."

Police said they're still investigating the identity of the other two suspects.

If anyone has any information in regards to investigation, contact the Ogdensburg Police Detective Unit 315-393-1555. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and New York State Police also assisted into the investigation.
