The ship that was aground in the St. Lawrence Seaway is now free.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Buffalo says it took about three hours to the get Pacific Huron free Saturday evening, with two Canadian tug boats pulling the 623 foot vessel.

The ship had been stuck in the Seaway near Fishers Landing since Wednesday night. The Pacific Huron is at Mason Point Anchorage to get checked out.

It will be inspected by the Classification Society and underwater divers in the morning. The seaway itself closes Sunday.
