A 25 year old town of LeRay woman has admitted to setting fire to her roommate's clothes.
Secret Goforth pleaded guilty Tuesday in Jefferson County Court to fourth-degree arson and second-degree reckless endangerment.
She will be sentenced March 5.
Goforth was arrested last November while a tenant at a duplex at 25052 Cooper Avenue.
Authorities said Goforth was upset with someone she lived with and set fire to that person's clothes, which later caught fire in the garage.
State police said Goforth set the blaze after the other person left the home, took a picture of the burning clothes, extinguished the flames, and put the remnants in a garbage bin in the garage.
The clothes reignited, causing a fire that extensively damaged the garage.
