Watertown Man Pleads Guilty In Crack Cocaine Bust

A 28 year old Watertown man faces prison time after pleading guilty in connection with a crack cocaine bust.

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted Joshua Thurston on five criminal counts Tuesday.

On Wednesday, he pleaded guilty to the top count of the indictment: second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He faces six years in prison and three years post-release supervision when he's sentenced February 2.

Thurston was arrested September 29, 2017, when members of the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force Thurs ton's home at 317 North Hamilton Street.

Police said Thurston was found with 4.8 ounces of crack cocaine valued at $13,650.
