The Red Cross says seven people are without a home after a fire in Philadelphia.

Rodney LaMora Jr. with the Philadelphia Fire Department says crews responded around 2 a.m.Sunday morning to a fire at a multi-family home at 17 Sand Street.

When they got there it was a total loss. Eight departments were called in, with the cold playing a factor.

Assisting Philadelphia were Evans Mills, Theresa, Antwerp, Pamelia, Calcium, Plessis and Oxbow. The Indian River Ambulance Squad let firefighters go into the warm up and made them coffee.

No one was hurt, the cause is not known.
