St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies seized $30,000 and a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop.
It happened shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday on County Route 53 in the town of Brasher.
Officials said a vehicle, driven by 35 year old Nadine Pierce of Hogansburg, failed to signal and keep right.
Deputies stopped the Toyota Highlander and questioned the four people inside. Officials said the deputies became suspicious based on the answers and called for a K9.
During an exterior search of the vehicle, the K9 indicted there were drugs inside.
Deputies searched inside the SUV and said they found a small amount of marijuana and $30,000 in cash.
Deputies arrested 33 year old Jordan Francis of Hogansburg for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Pierce was ticketed for traffic violations.
Officials said more arrests are possible.
