Sunday Sports: Frontier League Volleyball Championships

Super Bowl Sunday was also a super Sunday for Girls' Frontier League Volleyball as the A, B and C Division Titles were on the line at Watertown High School.

The first match of the day, top seed Sandy Creek versus second seed South Lewis for the C Division Title. In an intense battle, Sandy Creek took the win 5-2.

The second battle, Lowville against South Jefferson for the B Division Championship. Lowville went on to beat South Jeff 3-0.

The final match of the day was for the A Division Title, as the Carthage Lady Comets met Watertown. In game 1, Tricia Van Camp put Watertown up 1-0. Then Sophia Tuliau increased the Lady Cyclones lead to 2-0. A big turn around in the Lady Comets' favor as they went on to win 3-2.
