Man Accused Of Punching Out Car Window During Dispute

Posted: Updated:

A town of Oswegatchie man is accused of violating an order of protection when he punched out a car window.

State police say it happened during a domestic dispute last week when 44 year old Bryan Lalonde broke the rear window on the driver's side at a home on Rufa Road in Oswegatchie.

That, troopers say, violated an order of protection for which he was charged with first-degree criminal contempt.

Lalonde was also charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

He was arraigned in Oswegatchie town court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail without bail.

The court issued a stay-away order of protection.
