Morning Checkup: Vestibular Rehabilitation

Posted: Updated:

It's called Vestibular Rehabilitation and it can be used to help people suffering from vertigo.

Meredith Bossinger is a physical therapist at Samaritan Medical Center's rehabilitative services.

She talked about the treatment on Samaritan's weekly Morning Checkup segment on 7 News This Morning. Watch the video for her interview.

She explained that the vestibular is a small system in the inner ear that helps maintain balance.

People with vertigo don't have to suffer with it, she says. It can often be treated in just a session or two.
