A rupture in a decades-old service line caused the water outage that closed St.Lawrence County courts on Friday.
Officials say the 65 year old line behind the building has been repaired and crews were starting to re-introduce water to the courthouse Friday morning.
The outage closed St. Lawrence County Court and the county's Family, Surrogates and Supreme courts.
Anyone who works in the new courts building was sent home while the system was being filled with water.
All county offices are closed Monday for New York state's observance of Abraham Lincoln's birthday.
