A registered sex offender is in trouble for allegedly failing to report his change of address as well as social media, email and internet accounts.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office arrested 60 year old Paul Avallone of 636 Bronson Street in Watertown.

He's charged with on seven felony counts of failure to report change of address within 10 days.

According to the state Sex Offender Registry, Avallone is a Level 3 sex offender who disseminated indecent materials to a 14 year old girl back in 2004.

In 2005, he was convicted for doing the same thing to a 16 year old girl and was sentenced to a year in jail, the registry said.

Avallone was arrested last Friday after county probation officials visited Avallone's home and discovered he had four different internet providers, several social media accounts and two different email addresses.

He's required by law to report the accounts.

Detectives said Avallone was previously convicted of the same crime in 2015, for which he is currently on probation.

Avallone was arraigned in Watertown City Court and is being held without bail pending further court action.
