There are many risks associated with using marijuana, particularly for people who are in their teen years or younger.
Anita Seefried-Brown from the Alliance for Better Communities says her organization is particularly concerned with the push to make recreational use legal in New York.

Studies show, she said, that people can lose 10 IQ points if they're heavy users during their teenage years, which can impact their academics and could result in dropouts.
