Lawmakers To Vote On Fee Reduction For DPAO Concerts

Posted: Updated:

Watertown City Council is set to vote on a plan to reduce fees for concerts held by the Disabled Persons Action Organization.

In January, the non profit asked city council to cut it a deal when it comes to the costs of putting on its summer concert series at the fairgrounds.

Now, city officials and the DPAO have agreed to a 3 year contract with a flat fee of $4,000 per indoor show and $6,000 per outdoor event at the fairgrounds.

Approval could come Monday night at a city council meeting.
