Flu cases in St. Lawrence County are going down, but the numbers are still above average.
There were 109 case the week ending February 24, 132 cases the week ending February 17, and 201 cases the week before that.
But county public health director Dana McGuire says that's still a lot of flu cases.
"So it is coming down, but it's still much larger than we're used to see at this time," she said. "There are still plenty of new cases out there."
McGuire says even though it's later in the season, it's still not too late to get a flu shot.
