Marion E. Abrams, 94, Watertown, widow of Charles J. Abrams, passed away Monday, March 5th unexpectedly at her home.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 8th from 5-7 pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Her funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Sacred Heart on Friday, March 9th at 1 pm. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral at 12:15pm. Burial in North Watertown Cemetery will be held in the spring.
Marion E. Smith was born May 30th, 1923 to the late Orrin J. and Mary (Duquette) Smith in Glenfield, NY. She graduated from the Glenfield High School. She married Charles J. Abrams September 1951, whom passed away February 20th, 2003. During WWII, Marion worked for a brief period at Fachney's in Watertown.
Surviving are her daughter, Janet (Darin) Abrams-Duarte, Copenhagen, Watertown; a son, Kenneth (Marsha) Abrams, Arkansas; grandchildren, Danielle (Steven Britton, Jr.) Beebee, Alexander (Kristen) Beebee, Cassandra (Brandon) Martinson, Tammy Connell-Abrams and Kenneth (Amber) Abrams, Jr. She is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Besides her parents and husband Charles, she was predeceased by her son, Charles J. Abrams, Jr. and 2 brothers, Donald and Gerald Smith.
Marion's life was dedicated to her family whom she loved with all of her heart.
