Power Outage Delays Clifton-Fine School

Power Outage Delays Clifton-Fine School

Posted: Updated: Apr 09, 2018 06:15 AM

Close to 1,600 electrical customers are without power in southern St. Lawrence County.

And that has caused a delay at a school district there.

The National Grid website shows 1,583 of their customers were in the dark Monday morning, all of which are in either the towns of Clifton or Fine.

That's why Clifton-Fine Central is on a two-hour delay.

The utility's website shows power restoration is expected by 9:30 a.m. There have been no reports of what caused the outage.
