Man In Custody After WalMart Scare

Posted: Updated:

State police had a man in custody Wednesday night, after a reported bomb scare at the WalMart Super Center on Route 11 near Fort Drum.

Troopers were called to the store shortly before 4:30 PM; for a time, the building was evacuated while it was searched.

No bomb was found.

The store was open again by early evening, and state police said an arrest was pending. The bomb threat apparently started with a disgruntled customer.
