Nearly 800 Students Graduate at 125th Clarkson Commencement
Green and gold grads are sent on their way. And those Clarkson grads are reminded our nation faces challenges.
There's was the nervousness Saturday before and then 800 strong Clarkson grads marched into Cheel Arena.
At another door thousands of proud parents and others walk in for the big day.
Grads come from 30 states and 15 nations.
Before the ceremony though, there was widespread consensus from Emily Rogers. Camille Marshall and Sophie Wirpel about the best and worst parts of graduation.
Walking across that stage with the diploma. And not tripping. And not tripping,” they said collectively. “I'm going to have to say the whole preparation of it. It's pretty nerve wracking. The waiting. The waiting's the hardest.”
ROTC grads were commissioned as Army and Air Force officers on Friday. This year marks the university's 125th commencement ceremony.
