Nearly 900 graduates get degrees from SUNY Canton today at their 110th commencement ceremony to honor the class of 2018.
Graduates walking the stage represented 17 different states and 7 foreign countries.
This year's keynote address was from Pulitzer Prize winner John G. Maines III.
"We encourage you to use the training, logic, common sense, and overall understanding of things that i bet have improved since you arrived at Canton. But most of all, have fun out there," said John G. Maines III, who attended SUNY Canton from 1976-1977.
While this was the 110th commencement, SUNY Canton is celebrating 50 years at its current campus, which over time led to the college's list of 25 bachelor's degrees and more.
