TV Dinner: Honey Garlic Chicken

Posted: Updated:

There's a lot of garlic in this recipe, but it all balances out.

This week, Chef Chris Manning makes honey garlic chicken. It goes together fairly easily and is a very tasty dish.

Watch the video to see how it comes together and for his tips on varying the recipe.

Honey Garlic Chicken

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 garlic cloves (2 per chicken breast), minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey

Pound chicken to about 1/2 inch thick. Dredge in mixture of corn starch and cornmeal. Saute chicken in butter on medium heat until just cooked through. Remove from pan.

Sauté garlic in pan about 30 seconds, then deglaze with stock and add vinegar, soy sauce and honey. Put lid on pan and reduce until sauce forms a glaze.

Pour glaze over chicken breasts and serve.

Pair with Coyote Moon Vineyard's Brianna.
