Man Charged Following Alleged Potsdam Disturbance

A Wayne County man faces several charges after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a downtown Potsdam residence.

Village police say 20 year old Jared May allegedly resisted when they tried to take him into custody.

He was charged with public urination, second-degree harassment, two counts of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, unlawful imprisonment, criminal tampering, criminal trespassing, and public lewdness.

May was arraigned in Potsdam town court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail on $500 bail.
