Fighting the opioid crisis was the subject of a workshop held by the North Country Council of Social Agencies Thursday.
It was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown.
"I think what is encouraging about our community is that we do have community organizations that each fill their own unique roll in addressing it," said Joanna Loomis, North Country Council of Social Agencies,
About 100 people came out from different members organizations of the North Country Council of Social Agencies.
They learned new ways to combat addiction from the state's Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, PIVOT, and the Jefferson County Department of Social Services and Mandatory Reporting.
