Inflatable Water Craft Subject To Boating Laws

If you can ride on it or in it, consider it a boat.

That's what Dave White from the New York Sea Grant cautioned as he reminds people that their inflatable and folding craft are subject to state boating laws.

Everyone on board needs a life jacket -- those 12 and under need to wear it -- and everyone needs to have a sound-producing device, such as a whistle.
