It's another hot one.
We should get relief from oppressive weather on Friday and over the weekend, but for now we have a heat advisory.
The advisory affects Jefferson and Lewis counties and the top half of St. Lawrence County.
The advisory ends at 8 p.m. Thursday. Southeastern St. Lawrence County will also be hot and humid, but will stay under the threshold for any heat-related alerts.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs around 90. Factoring in humidity, the heat index will top out near 100 degrees.
Thunderstorms are likely overnight and rain could be heavy at times. Those storms will be followed by a cold front that bring both temperatures and humidity down to more comfortable levels.
Friday will be sunny with highs in the low-70s.
It will be in the mid-70s on Saturday and around 80 on Sunday. Skies will be sunny both days.
