Four Charged In July 4 Meth Bust

Posted: Updated:

Four people were charged following a raid on a Factory Street apartment in Watertown earlier this week.

Watertown police were called to the 661 Factory Street apartment of 42 year old Kara Hickman on July 4 and called in the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force after they allegedly found evidence of an active meth lab.

Police say they found ingredients and components commonly used to make meth and about seven ounces of a liquid containing meth.

Hickman and three other people in the apartment -- 25 year old Anna Brown, 32 year old Jenna Hoistion, and 24 year old Ryan Cook -- were each charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

They were held in jail without bail after their arraignments in Watertown city court.
