It's time to sign up for the ninth annual River Rat Triathlon, which benefits Children's Miracle Network at Samaritan Medical Center.
CMN development manager Kristin LaClair and triathlon volunteer coordinator Emily Soderquist talked about the event during Samaritan's weekly Morning Checkup segment on 7 News This Morning.

Race day is Sunday, August 12. It starts and ends at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, where there will be a party afterward.
The entry fee is $60. Teams of two or three can enter for $50 per person.
Online registration is now open. It closes on Saturday, August 11.
