They're setting up their booths and getting the stage ready for the 51st edition of Potsdam's Summer Festival, which kicks off Thursday afternoon.
Downtown businesses are bringing their wares outside. Others are coming from miles away with theirs.
The Ives Park fireworks Friday are being billed as a centerpiece event and there will be plenty of music on the main stage. Everyone has their reason for coming.
“The first time we've done Summer Fest and it's one of the first times we've done any kind of huge promotion," said Arthur For, who co-owns 4F Running, "where we've gotten a chance to set up a booth and get our name out to a large group of people.”
The Summer Festival runs through Saturday and will include that day's groundbreaking for Clarkson's Cheel Arena expansion.
