Voters are expected to have their say in October on a proposed $43 million upgrade for St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES career centers.
All three career centers are almost 50 years old.
St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES wants to upgrade them and create space for increased enrollments. Half of all students in its 18 member school districts spend at least part of the day at a career center.
Those districts would each pay a share of the costs and get part of that reimbursed by the state.
A tentative vote date of October 9 has been set.
