4th Teen Arrested In Massena Animal 'Prank'Posted: Updated:
An 18 year old female has become the fourth person to be arrested in connection with a "prank" at Massena Central High School that involved the alleged mistreatment of animals.
Village police charged her with a misdemeanor count of third-degree criminal trespass and released her on an appearance ticket.
Last month, police arrested two 18 year old males and a 17 year old male in connection with the incident. They were also charged with third-degree criminal trespass.
The arrests are in connection with what's being called a senior prank at the school that allegedly involved animal cruelty.
Sources tell 7 News that two chickens were involved, a rabbit was kicked and a large bass was thrown into a tropical fish tank.
As many as 20 students, mostly seniors, were apparently involved.
The names of the four charged were not released. Officials say the state's youthful offender law allows the names to be sealed.
